Microspray in die casting machines (hot chamber)
Precise. Reliable. Repeatable. Minimal effort, maximum effect!
Conventional spraying onto the mold or into the cavities often causes quenching behavior, which has a negative effect on the service life of the mold. In addition, inaccurate spraying processes consume large quantities of release agents, which in turn leads to emissions in the production hall and increases cleaning and disposal costs.
Micro-spraying/minimum quantity lubrication (MQL) with release agent, on the other hand, results in good surfaces of consistent quality. The advantage is that the nozzles do not become misaligned, clogged, or dry out. They do not dry out even when the machine is shut down over the weekend. This means that the same spray pattern can be produced without interruption for a job lasting several months.
Advantages of our spray modules for hot and cold chamber die casting machines
- Cost reduction through material savings of up to 70%
- Needle-closing coaxial spray heads – spray pattern can be adjusted using different attachments (round jet, flat jet, and swivel)
- No sticking after machine shutdown thanks to the self-cleaning effect of the spray heads
- Spray air and medium quantity per spray head independently and reproducibly adjustable
- Fine atomization with large surface area and good wetting
- Separate control of the exhaust air
- Shorter travel distances, as the blow-off bar is located below the spray tool + Reduction in cycle times, as blow-off is not necessary in most cases or does not have to be performed twice
